Prof Klaus McDonald-Maier
Co-founder, CEO
Klaus is the founding CEO of Versatile RoboX and responsible for all aspects of the company, including strategy and growth. He is Research Professor in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex and holds visiting positions at the University of Kent and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs. He has received significant funding for his research work from EU, EPSRC, and industrial sources, as well as several proof-of-concept awards. He was also the co-founder and Chief Scientist of UltraSoC Technologies Ltd, which was acquired by Siemens.
Dr Vishuu Mohan
Co-founder, CTO
Dr Vishwanathan Mohan, the founding CTO of Versatile RobotX, is deeply involved in various research projects spanning agriculture, social care, and manufacturing. He is currently the Principal Investigator for multiple research initiatives, including the Innovate UK-funded Versatile, SCARLETT, SMART, and EU-funded SoftGrip projects. His work has been covered by national and international media, showcasing his impactful research in agri-food robotics.
